1. Owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date pet is checked into the kennel, and further agrees to pay for all costs and charges for any special services requested, and all veterinary costs for the pet during the time pet is in the care of kennel.

2. I agree and understand that if I board my pet(s) for longer than originally contracted, I will contact GREENACRE KENNELS to make arrangements. I accept that normal daily charges will apply for any additional days spent boarding.

3. I acknowledge and accept that if I board my pet(s) for a shorter time than contracted, any discounts are rescinded, and normal daily tariffs will apply. GREENACRE KENNELS may further require that I pay the entire contracted boarding period.

4. Animals not collected within 7 days of the nominated date will be disposed of at GREENACRE KENNELS discretion. All monies owing, including fees and costs relating to disposal, shall be payable by the owner forthwith after receipt of GREENACRE KENNELS’ advice as to the amount thereof. If the costs are not paid as provided above, legal proceedings will be instituted without further notice.

5. GREENACRE KENNELS shall exercise reasonable care for the pet delivered by the Owner to kennel for boarding and to keep its premises sanitary and properly enclosed. Under no circumstances will GREENACRE KENNELS, or its employees or agents, be held responsible for illness, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, whether or not caused by any
negligent, act or omission of GREENACRE KENNELS, its employees or agents, that may occur to any pet staying at GREENACRE KENNELS

6. The owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of the pet while it is in GREENACRE KENNELS' care

7. If pet becomes ill or if the state of the pet’s health requires professional attention, the Kennel, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian or administer medicine, or a special diet, or give other requisite attention to the pet and the expenses (including transport if required) will be paid by the owner. In the case of a medical emergency, the maximum dollar amount that owner authorizes to be spent on veterinary care is stated overleaf. Should the treatment exceed this amount the owner will be contacted for further instructions and/or to raise payment limit.

The following provision applies:
(a) if reasonably practicable, and if the owner’s veterinarian agrees to render his or her account direct to the owner, then GREENACRE KENNELS will engage the services of the owner’s veterinarian and in so doing will be acting as the owner’s agent;
(b) if the owner’s veterinarian is unavailable or unwilling to invoice the owner direct or, in GREENACRE KENNELS’ absolute discretion, it is impracticable to take the animal to the owner’s veterinarian then GREENACRE KENNELS may engage a veterinarian of its choice to treat the animal.

8. In the event the pet dies whilst in the care of GREENACRE KENNELS. The owner requests to be notified

[ ] Upon return – Pets body to be [ ] held at veterinarian [ ] cremated (all costs to be payable by owner)

9. If animals are boarded for more than 2 weeks, a minimum 50% of board must be paid in advance.

10. GREENACRE KENNELS reserve the right to refuse any animal and no reason shall be given.

11. During the Christmas period a 10 day minimum charge will apply.

12. All charges apply per calendar day regardless of the time of pick up and drop off.

13. Whilst the scale of fees and charges may vary with subsequent visits by my pet(s), I acknowledge and accept that the general terms of this contract will stay in place for any future visits by my pet(s) to GREENACRE KENNELS

14. The owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the animal, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.

15. By signing these conditions the client certifies to the accuracy of all information given about the pet/s. The client acknowledges that the signing of this contract will create a lien over the animal/s in favor of GREENACRE KENNELS which lien will continue to exist whilst ever monies are owing to them.
